After long years of division, the former walled city is once again an international metropolis.

The capital of Germany with its ca.3,6 million inhabitants and an area of ca. 890 km².

is known for its diversity.

In only 1 hour you fly directly from Salzburg to Berlin.

Conveniently by cab or subway, you will reach your booked hotel in no time and can start exploring right away.

Whether a simple 3 star hotel or luxury accommodation – everything is bookable.

Discover Berlin with a ticket for the Hop on Hop off sightseeing bus.

The buses stop at many stations and thanks to an audio guide or live commentary you get a good overview of the city. Enjoy the panoramic view on the bus and get off at the sights that interest you.

Alexanderplatz: popularly called “Alex”, is one of the most famous and largest squares, as well as an important transport hub. In addition, many major sights are within walking distance from here (Red City Hall,

TV Tower and Neptune Fountain)

Brandenburg Gate and Reichstag: No visit to Berlin without the Brandenburg Gate! The only preserved city gate in Berlin, which once stood primarily for the separation of the city into East and West, has been the symbol of Germany’s unity since the fall of the Wall. With the German division and the building of the Wall in 1961, the Brandenburg Gate stood on the restricted area and was inaccessible for Berliners and visitors. From here you can walk to the Reichstag, which has been the seat of the German Bundestag since 1990. Especially the glass dome is an attraction

Checkpoint Charlie: The former border crossing from West to East Berlin on Friedichstr. is an attraction for visitors from all over the world. The fact that there are hardly any original buildings left at Checkpoint Charlie doesn’t bother anyone. Since then, various tourist facilities have sprung up around Checkpoint Charlie to explain and illustrate the historic site. (Wall Museum)

Kurfürstendamm short Ku’damm: on 3.5 km length are numerous branches of the most famous fashion stores not only strolling mile, but also architecturally and culturally interesting is the Memorial Church.

KaDeWe- Department store of the West: Here you can find mostly luxury items on 7 floors. It is internationally known and compared to department stores like Harrods in London. At 6th floor there are many delicious things to see, smell and buy. Whether ham, wine, sweets or spices here you will find everything your heart desires. Tip: Visit the restaurant Wintergarten in the 7th floor with a view over Berlin.

Boat trip on the Spree: The Spree runs right through the heart of Berlin. From the water opens a unique view of a city with many faces. On a short distance you will see famous sights such as the Bundestag, Museum Island, Berlin Cathedral, Heckscher Markt Nicolaiviertel and much more.

Potsdamerplatz: It was planned as an entire city district by architects. With success – the cafés, cinemas and shopping facilities between the futuristic skyscrapers are used by Berliners and tourists alike.

The shopping arcades Potsdamer Platz and Mall of Berlin directly at Leipziger Platz invite you to extensive shopping tours.

Restaurant Tip: Avanti Cucina Italiana in Stresemannstr. 121. Approx. 5 minutes walk from Potsdamerplatz
